The way it is diagramed out there it looks like the fuel pressure regualtor is supposed to be T'ed into the air duct, intake manifold and EGR solenoid? I can't understand why this is. Why would you want the FPR connected to anything other than manifold vacuum?

It seems to me that you'd want the fuel pressure regulator connected directly to the intake manifold only. The line from the air duct then should go straight to the EGR solenoid. So instead of having the 'C' male to male connector you should leave the two systems seperate.

As soon as I get my NX up and running I'll try doing it my way and report back.

Well, my diagram is the simple way to do it. If you notice, I have not added anything to the FPR line that wasn't already there, OEM.

The main goal was to illustrate the simplest way to get rid of the AIV and BPT stuff for use on a JDM intake manifold.

If your goal is to get the FPR on one vacuum hose, then you can do that, and there are countless other ways to reroute your lines, including bypassing the charcoal canister, blah blah blah.

(BTW this is how I had my old DE-T running, with my boost gauge on the FPR, and everything was reading normal back then.)

So let me ask you this. Where is the little nipple on the intake supposed to be hooked to? Because that was the one thing I really didn't understand with your drawing and maybe I mis-interpreted it. Is it supposed to be fed with a vacuum line from inside the intake manifold (post t/b)?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, the small connection on the intake pipe gets T'd in between 2 lines, #10 and #12.

This T simply replaces the huge "gallery" of steel (or aluminum?) tubes that is attached to the EGR stuff.

Additionally, I installed 370cc injectors and the JWT turbo ECU to check those pieces.

I have diagrammed, for anyone else's benefit, the re-routing of the vacuum hoses to cleanup that whole area there.

From the Haynes manual for reference on the corresponding numbered hoses:

Here's what you have in stock form:

... the "triangles" are where 3 hoses join each other via 3-way or through the gallery.

FYI, the "gallery" is the metal hoses all buched up together, connected to the BPT valve and the EGR tube,

Here's AFTER you've discarded, what to rehook and add:

Ive done it this way, and everything runs swell! Although now I have to turn the idle down a notch.

If there's an error anyone can see in this, let me know...

hey so i can run a boost gauge on the number 3 line or witch one

I've only successfully done it off the FPR (#4), but I know a lot of people dont recommend that.
