^^^^ok first of all the best gt30 series for ts is the gt3071r...why? refer to my previous post. the gt3576 also works well, reasons are mentioned in my prev post.

second of all going from a .63 ar to a .78 ts will not give any more boost onset response or throttle response, it will however give more mid range. Also twin scroll manifolds also use more bends are a bit more lengthy in general which affects boost responce

if you want twin scroll get another tial 38mm and copy the full race duel gate, otherwise keep your single gate and .63 and copy the bull horn full race one. It has a nice merge collector and will be easier to get right

If you're going to do the work it would take to make that manifold twin scroll, you might as well make your own manifold from scratch. Really.

OR, you could just have Bruce and Co. (Protech) fabricate you a decent twin scroll setup. They're a little bit on the pricey side, but it's WELL worth it. I'm still in awe every time I raise the hood and see that kick ass manifold.

EDIT: Might I add, that You can tell Bruce you want a Ram style EL manifold with Twin Scroll capability, and he'll make it happen. I think the Ram Horn style manifold is an easier manifold to fabricate, from the get go.

Geoff at full race im sure wouldnt have any problem with fabrication you anything you want, ive dealt with full race many of times and talked with then extensivly, very professional guys, super nice

Bruce at Pro-Tech can make anything you want. My manifold was made exactly to my likings and specs.

I think this is possible and will make the system a very potent street machine. I have practically had it with spool times. I would like to make this a quick-spooling design while still making 500whp.

yeah it should be a good material to use. imo the only reason full race and the likes use cast stainless is for looks, no one wants to spend $1500 on a manifold that aint shinny, even if it serves a better purpose and once coated in crome ceramic coating it will never crack and look pretty anyway, plus the little bit more heat it retains might help a little with spool

when i was into hondas i spent 1300 on my top mount from full race, they are top of the line, they dont usemanual skill to weld, they use robotic welding, PERFECT welds, that is one of the reasons their manifolds are so expensive their parts arent cheap they use and their mthods of welding are tip top notch, worth every penny..

^^^ i am not disputing that point at all

full race are the bomb! their manifolds are top notch, the robotic tig welds are mad! and their designs are state of the art. Each manifold is worth every penny and double that penny for twin scroll designs.

but i still would rather a different material, sure cast stainless is a lot better than the ebay spec manifolds you get. But i would much rather a manifold made from steem pipe for a street car, or a race car would love inconel pipe, but i would want to be sponsored lol

Page 3 is most interesting, but page 1 is good too.

I have seen first hand what a well-designed twin scroll will do on the dyno. My buddy designed his own manifold and spools his celica's GT42(94?)r completely by 5k. That's 34psi of boost by 5k, on a much bigger turbo than I have. He also made over 550lb of torque.

I hear different stories from all sorts of people concerning TS. Some ppl say it helps with spool, others say it doesn't. Some say it makes your turbo more responsive, others say no. Well, I can at least dyno it against the log manifold and post the gains here right? Then we all know for sure.

If the turbo spools the same with a TS manifold, then maybe that GT40R would look better on that manifold
