The decrease in rotational mass should more than make up for the rpm drop you will experience between shifts.

^Amen to that. I bought (2) fidanza's I thought about one of those flywheels about a year ago, but then decided it wouldn't be a good idea.

^I just picked one of these up for my build. I also have a ACT HDSS clutch kit as well.

SP — ACT Sport Pressure Plate
HD — ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate
XT — ACT Xtreme Pressure Plate
XX — ACT MaXX Xtreme Pressure Plate

^These are the PP that ACT makes. They don't have one of these available for the SE-R?

I have seen a few cars making 400-500whp on the xtss kit. Mine is holding up well after 3 years.

how bout shaving down some pounds off of the stock flywheel at a machine shop. will there be any benefits other than buying a lightweight flywheel. talking about from a money point

I wouldnt do that for the fact that you dont know how well balanced it will be after done. The fidanza already comes balanced, To me that would just be a waste of money, you can pick up a used fidanza with new friction disk fro 150.00 if you catch a good deal. Brand new for 250.00 i would just save the trouble.

NX9-XTG6

^Just picked up this one.

The NX9-XTSS only has a 323 torque rating and the NX9-XTG6 has 414. How accurate is the listings that ACT has? I'll be putting the NX9-HDSS kit on my daily and it should hold up pretty good with my all motor setup.

it should hold up just fine, the puck disks hold more because the way the pressure plate seats around the disk when clamped also the material of the disk. The street/strip disk is an organic material while the pucks are a ceramic/metallic disk. rougher on the pp and flywheel but well worth it, i had a 4 puck unsprung that was previously used for 40k miles plus in road racing, i got it and it still had plenty of life left, I used it for 6 months 20k miles and the disk still had some life left but was getting close to the rivets on the pucks so i opted to change it also because it was starting to chatter a lot because of the wear. Now i have a 6 puck sprung and have no problems at all on my turbo sentra
