lol yeah the big turbo is what keeps you from spinning like crazy Coheed. Your already moving at higher speed before your power really hits. A disco potato, t25, and t28 are all so instant that the tires have no choice but to spin like crazy, you have seen all my vids. i spin the tires till 70-75 on a 80* night with my T25 setup. I spin the tires less with the new GC coilovers than i did with my stock struts with lowering springs. i used to pound off the rev limiter in 2nd if i punched it now the rpms just to about 6500 while the tires spin then it grabs and jumps to 7500 then shift then spin again in third for the second it takes to go from 60 to 75mph. So yeah, this new stiffer suspension really helped with my traction issues alot. This is on 195 Falkens. The car definetely picks up power with the lightweight flywheel no doubt.

Alot of these issuses have to do with your turbo setups. A smaller turbo will always tend to boil the tires while a laggy turbo wont. This is true in most all cars. it has to do with where the powerbands are. The smaller turbo will make more power than a large turbo under say 4500rpms depending on the bigger turbo. Thats why you always see smaller turbos jumping like crazy on big turbo cars because the power is instant. Thats why i want to go to the Dual BB T28 and be done with it. Spool time is amazing, power is instant, it will roast the these tires till probably past 90mph until i get some wider stickier tires and will make around 330-350whp but power will start at 2500rpms and get crazy by 4k. Then even to top end it will hold very well. I Think like most people said if you are looking for a setup that will absolutly kick butt, roast the tires, and have some crazy top end with a supurb power band The T28's and GT2871's are probably the best setup you can go with, at 350whp which is about where most are you are looking at some insane power because its there through the whole power band unlike a large laggy turbo that really doesnt make much power until about 4500 peak is made way up in the power band. while the smaller turbo has and still is making serious power.

Umm, no. It's your suspension, my SC61 is bigger than a GT30R. It will spin the tires at 30mph and 80mph, depending on gear.

Not really. My car makes more power at 3500rpms @ 10 psi than a JWT ECU eqipeed T28 car @ 16psi. Its all in the tune.

I've been in his car, even tough it was only at 7psi. I didn't feel the lag.

at 7psi, the car made more power than a T25 at 14psi.

im sure there is lag compared to a smaller turbo, im not saying that, The smaller turbo just feels more peppy than a bigger turbo, i mean when your running the car hard how long does it take you to get to 4k rpms, not very long then all gears after that your above that so you will stay in your powerband. The only time this would really affect it is if your in a higher gear at lower speed, im just saying the way smaller turbos are they just tend to be more responsive when you mash the throttle. Its more instant, Not saying that a big turbo car can just get the revs above 4500 and then smash the throttle in say 2nd gear and the tires wont go crazy probably in 3rd also.

Neways its kinda got off discussion a bit. I really dont think there is any negative to having a lightweight flywheel with turbo, it all works the same. There is definetly a power increase with increased speed of the revs.

I have been thinking about trying one in my ve car. I have seen the clutches get bad reviews but so do many clutches even act which I use and have never had a single problem with. You also get what you pay for so I may just buy another findaza.

i would not use xtd clutches. the flywheels look pretty good though but i installed an xtd clutch and flywheel unit into my buddies lancer evo8 and it doesnt seem like it would hold any more than the stock one. This was a stage 3 pp and disk so yeah i wouldnt do it if your making good power. I use the ACT XTREME PP with 6 puck sprung disk and never have any problems at all.
