Gonna be insane. haha. Its an investment well worth it, after driving an se-r with a stock flywheel and having my lightweight flywheel on both of the se-rs ive owned i would never go back, haha

^I have a 4 piece pulley set I'm putting on my car down the road. Did you notice the rpm's falling off faster when you were boosted with a lightweight fly vs stock fly?

I have always had fidanza flywheels and turbo, never a problem, love it.

I used to have a Fidanza on my old B13, it shoots up to redline very fast.

My old setup was N/A though. My guess is you would build boost faster, but what about traction? Would that be an issue?

I have yet to drive a fwd turbo car that did not have traction issues. Even my vvl car kills 1st gear.

I had a jwt fly on my car, but I changed it back to stock. I drive my car every day and with the lighter fly you have to shift fast all the time to make a smooth shift. I agree that the lighter fly made the car feel a lot faster. A lot. I will be doing some testing with this fly, then I will put the jwt back in and test it again. I am expecting a 20whp gain with the fly. It easily feels like that much, but you guys will have to keep your eyes peeled for the actual test.

Get in my car! I have the stock suspension in there with a stock fly. I know the car is north of 380whp on 20psi, and I still have very very good traction. I will post a video sometime.

I liked the lightweight flywheel on my t25 setup. It was enough to pull a ls1 camaro. I didn't have lsd on my 99 tranny and only first gear was useless(typical). Either way , the rpms drop quick with any setup.

That statement contradicts itself unless your suspension is really, really shot I daily drive my car ~350whp and have no traction until 4th gear, with 215/45/16 tires.

haha. I remember my car with the stock suspension and boost it was scary and hard to keep straight and that was before I made 300+ at the wheels

yes the suspension is shot. A completely stock, 90k mile old SEL suspension. I believe the stock fly helps with traction as well. Plus, I have a big turbo which doesn't spool til I am already moving at higher speeds. See my video getting on the freeway on 19psi in my dyno thread. I barely start chirping 2nd.

With a stiff suspension I would no doubt be spinning tires for a while. I am running Fuzion hri tires. 205/55r15. I have lowered tire pressure to help also.

Also you have a much stiffer side wall than I do. These tires all rated all-season performance and are only good to 130mph (h rating).

I raced my buddy in his disco potato sentra on 18psi, I was at 15-16psi, I killed him from a roll. He dynoed at 290whp at 12psi and was around 330-340whp on 18. He had no traction at all either. Even when we put the stock fly back in. He still boiled them like crazy.
