Back from the dead, About to just go with a JK Tuning RE-Tune.. On JWT's ECU my car will barely idle, I have to keep blipping it and after it warms up 10 mins + then it will idle and not good and when coming to red lights it stalls...
On boost it pulls nicely just to stall at a red light and also throws codes for KNOCK. Mind you if i swap back my off-tune from JK Tuning it will idle flawless and not stall at all the fuel is just off for boost which can be adjusted. Multiple
calls to JWT have just been handled as " BLOW THRU is not supported " and " NO Nissan was ever configured like this " I found posts stating people have had the same issues and swapped their whole setups and still have the issue.

Same issue - http://www.b15u.com/threads/33071-cant-get-JWT-turbo-reflash-working-proper/page7

You guys have any other ideas? My car ran perfect for years like this, I highly doubt its because of blow thru why JWT's ECU wont even idle on my car and JK Tunings ECU idles perfect.. I can literally swap ECUs and my idle is perfect.
For a tuner company I feel JWT balks at anything not run how Nissan created it from the factory, I have no boost or vacuum leaks and everything has been triple checked. This is killing me lol

I wish my car ran OK blow thru also.. it pulled fine but other then that was poo.. definitely makes for a cleaner / simpler setup..

But I've said fuck jwt ecus for years, im standing by it lol.. have John (jktuning) help you out and maybe he can get it sorted for ya

Lynch, Im going to do just that.. John gave me a base tune a while ago " on " just for the dyno u know what? My car ran perfect on that tune... The only issue I had was when I changed N62 Mafs due to my maf getting moisture in it ( Maf is in billet housing ) and some how it got moisture when sitting.. Before that my car was flawless this JWT ECU thats suppose to be plug in play and have better partial throttle response is crap. My car ran almost flawless on a JK Tuning ROM.. Gonna reflash with another JK Rom and sell my JWT I think.. Maybe blow thru isnt the best and ill prob switch for simplicity but if I switch and its still junk im selling this dinosaur.

Once I added JWT ECU, Instantly I had knock codes and barely would idle until completely warmed up, JWT claims blow thru is the problem 100% im not buying it, My car also runs lean.

Maybe your blow off valve sucks in unmetered air

Would that be possible? The BOV is after the MAF in a blow thru config ( MAF is Incognito ) its in a BIllet Maf box in the piping before it towards the throttle body

Absolutely, older greddy an esp the eBay knock offs are know for it.. sometimes u can adjust it or add washers under the spring..

I have an hks knock off and I'm sure it suffers from the same thing..

The bov operates off vac which pulls it open thus allowing air to travel in, if it were recirculated like factory it wouldn't be an issue..

Oh wait, I was thinking about draw thru with open bov sorry, no in your case it shouldn't be an issue..

The maf itself (to me) just doesn't like to be in blow thru configuration.. looootttss of other guys have had great success tho..

You would think it wouldnt matter but sometimes it does..

I'd just work with John, if he can't sort it out no one can..

Definitely going to do that and avoid switching to draw if I can , Only because I dont want to redo all my piping. If I feel like its the main reason for my issues you better believe I will buy some piping and re-route it for draw thru

This is most of your problem. In a blow through setup the MAF must be between the BOVand throttle body.
With you having the MAF before the BOV when the engine is idling the BOV is partially open during vacuum and causing a giant unmetered air leak into the engine.
