EWG and J-Pipe Question...
I am looking at going external wastegate on my tubular GTI-R replacement manifold, with one of these that will be modded for an EWG at the front.
Since the internal wastegate port will need to be sealed on the exhaust housing, would running the following J-pipe be a bad thing since the housing is not divorced?
I am not sure if the extra space in the housing will make exhaust flow too turbulent, as the chamber is meant to house both the exhaust and wastegate flow and not just be the diameter of the exhaust port, or if it is automatically better that there will be no wastegate flow dumping into the exhaust stream.
