PTE 6262 JB Oil Feed ??
Hey guys.

I am looking for some recent experiences on the JB 6262 on a VVL engine. I was wondering if you guys are using the recommended -4an or -3an feed line?

PTE says to use -4 but they test there turbos on low oil pressure (45 psi or so). When I asked them what to do on a high oil pressure engine they just quoted the installation manual that says to install a restrictor if you damage the seals. Im trying not to damage then to start off. I have also asked a few PTE dealers and no one has had an educated answer for me.

All the info I found on the forum says -3 but this info way 4 years old, and I know PTE has changed there seal design since then.

So for those of you who have ran the turbo, what are your experiences?

What size restrictor?

Also how many miles are on the turbo? What size drain do you have? Is the car driven often? And how much boost do you run?

I bought one for a bb turbo and drilled the restrictor slightly larger. 5/8 drain.

Well im just going to give the -3an with no restrictor a shot. If the turbo blows up, i will update you guys.
