VET OEM piston
Hi all,

I see a few people have run the oem VET piston. I know they are cast and not forged, but looking for experiences on durability - HP limits and overall experience with them?

Considering putting 500HP through a set, just looking for feedback.

Thanks.

Is your engine holding up well? The high compression VE?

I don't have any info on the VET pistons but maybe someone else will help in that regard.

Sold the car quite a few years ago. The owner after me played with the dizzy without realising the standalone ecu already had base timing set and detonated the crap out of it. Eventually spun a rod bearing at the drag strip from detonation and crush. Lasted 50,000km apparently!
