do you have a fuel pressure gauge in the engine bay? i have been having troubles trying to figure out if my nismo fpr was going bad also.... the thing is, the nismo fpr holds pressure with acc on and engine off , and also when the engine is on it holds correct pressure at idle and correct pressure with the vac line off....if you have a gauge in the engine bay you can lowly rise th rev on the engine and see if the fuel pressure goes up...you could also pinch the return line and see if the pressure jumps if it doesnt then its most likly the fpr....i have done all those things with my adjustable fpr but still not 100% sure its not bad i donno lol

i had a guage which is what i used to set it, but then took it off to give to a friend when he did his, i hadnt moved it, it just started acting funky, so i turned it down until i knew it was running off my stock fpr, im running the adjustable one after my stock one which had always worked just fine and i tried it the other way using my adapter to eliminate the stock fpr and no go, at that set fuel pressure which is what i had always used it ran like junk under full throttle, partial throttle was ok but still had its quirks, now its just soo freakin smooth again its not even funny, engine sounds soo much better, idle is awesome, the revs are smooth, i can smash the throttle and it goes and doesnt stop pulling.

I can now sit there and punch the throttle in neutral and pound it off the limiter a couple times without it sputtering or misfiring, before when it wasnt working right i could hardly get it to rev up smooth at all and forget it pounding off the limiter it would just sound like it flooded out which is exactly what it was doing. for whatever cause i dont know. Im just thinking the fuel pressure was drasticly going up bad causing the problem, so yeah im convinced.

So yeah it doesnt take many turns of the adjustment to drop or raise pressure so i just turned it down pretty much all the way to allow it to run off my stock regulator and whalla a whole new smile on my face. haha
