Double true, massage those walls and up it fits. Be wary of un-wanted banging of the exhaust on the tunnel of the chassis. I had this on a slightly mis-aligned system and it was quite annoying.

I caved and got a Vibrant stealth. Great deal on it from Pep Boys if anyone is looking for the 1148 (dual tip, 2.5" inlet). It's an item they're not selling any more, and discounting heavily to clear stock. You won't find it on their website, but some of the Speed Shop equipped stores may still have them for $79. Retail is in the $130 range.

Iam sporting the Apex WS2 with 3" piping and a 14" resonator. Its quiet at idle and great when VVL hits.

love that deep unrestricted sound. how all ve's should do it.

Post up a video once you get it installed. I've been considering redoing my exhaust with a 3" straight through muffler too since the car is no longer a daily only.

I will, however I'm still trying to make a decision if I should just have a muffler shop make me a 2.5" axle back for the Vibrant, or if I should just buy a whole new pipe kit from VRS.

I don't want to cut the HKS muffler off the axle back, and put the Vibrant muffler on there. HKS is 60mm(~2.3"), Vibrant is 2.5" and I'll need to get a piece of pipe between the axle back pipe and muffler since the Vibrant muffler is a few inches shorter, and that will start looking messy...
