I've installed dozens of sets of cams with no issues and never had an issue timing the engine properly. But who knows what happened to this head before I had it. It's never been out of time in my posession. This head is the only thing that doesn't have a fresh set of internals. It's got about 50k miles of lots of boost and even some nitrous on top of that from time to time. It's been sitting for a long time after a head gasket fail years ago. I think some exhaust valves also met their match when that hg blew. should find out soon!
