First time turbo.
I just slapped this bluebird setup on my DE. I noticed when I let it warm up for a while it starts to smoke. I also noticed once I ran it/ get on it and come to a stop it smoked. I check my feed and return line and it has no kinks. I checked my pipes no oil. Turbo does have shaft play but show no oil. No oil in spark plugs either. Never smoked before slapping the Turbo. Just wondering if anyone can let me know whats up. Does run good by the way.

is the shaft play in and out or axial. Also what are you using for tuning.

in and out is bad on a journal bearing turbo. the seal on the exhaust side is leaking which is why you have oil in the exhaust. I would have it rebuilt before you have oil in the charge pipes or the play gets so bad it eats the wheels.
