Boost controllers
Hey all, seems I'm having a tough time finding Info as to what bcs are popular on Sr20swhat boost controller are you running, why do you like it, and if you had a choice, which would you rather?

I have a old HKS EVC 4, it's big but damn I love this thing. My friend has the newer EVC 5 and it's smaller cool display. Don't know if it's fuzzy logic like the 4 but it works good for him on his EVO. I'm tempted to look for the new 6 since I could save some space.

Profec B Spec 2 as well. Awesome controller once you know how to make it work for you. The best MBC IMO is the Hallman

ran the greddy type s for a while. The apexi avcr works really well but is complicated. I used my aem ems to control boost now.

Does nismotronic control boost levels with a solenoid as well or just the ams @cortrim1 ?

@se200 What made you decide to change?

Oh hang on, are nemu and nisstronic and nisstune the same thing?

I changed management, my last ecu would not control boost. The greddy was great for static high and low boost functions. The greddy has good gain control and I picked up 300-400rpms of spool time adjusting it over just a wastegate.

What ecu are you running?
If your running aem, nismotronic Nemu or a stand alone then use the built in boost control function.
