Thread: Bov Hook Up?? Help...

ight i have a type s bov and im not too sure on how to hook it up soo if anyone has any pics ,info anything will help here is a pic of my setup
do i need to eliminate anything take anything off>>?? thanks

you just need a flange welded to one of the sides of pressure pipe. either the longer pipe or the one before the bend to the throttle body. you probly need to run a recirc hose to behind the maf depending on your fuel management.

best way is to get the universal flange that just has a pipe on it then you can change bov's if you want later with out welding new flanges.

does the blue bird motor come with sometype of blow off acuator

yea there should be. All turbo motors need a bov in order to stop compressor surge. If there isnt one its not to good for your turbo.

do i eliminate that or leave it be?

Isn't that the bov right near the throttle body??

yeah it is.. im thinking to put the bov i have now in the place by the stock one, but do i change the pipes or can i use the same one?

you can change the pipes if you want. just find one that will fit.
