I would not use the stacks since they sit above the flange and extend the runner length. I have not heard of any one having issues with leaking around the plastic adapter but its a simple design and could be made out of metal it needed. You may want to pm SR20GTi-R for more information.

Does he work at xcessive?

Jamie(Marsh Tuning) uses xcessive manifolds on lots of builds and has tons of information.

your calculations are off but thats for another day another thread.

havent had problems leaking around the flange just use rtv and check for leaks frequently

Thats good to know, I am doing a bulk order of xcessive plenums for my business as well as getting one for my own car, so i'm sure they will look after me if i have any queries.

RE: the injector calculations. I used this calculator Misc Calculators - DSMtuners.

Regardless, I already have the injectors and rails so even if its an overkill (i dont think it is with E85 Fuel) i will have plenty of headroom.

Your calcs are way off. lol.

ID1000's at 3 bar fuel pressure can make around 460whp on E85, and 625whp or so on pump.
ID1000's at 4 bar fuel pressure can make around 530whp on E85 and 700whp on pump.

There are honda guys using 100psi base fuel pressures running ID1000's to around 600whp. The ID's love higher fuel pressures. So you might consider just running single ID1000's at a high base pressure. More than enough for for you want to make. Dont worry about staying at 80% duty cycle. No reason you cant push ID's to 95-98% reliably.

So my vote is the Excessive on P11 runners, ID1000's single rail. Much easier to tune a single set with less likelyhood of issues. Try not to complicate things more than you need to.

Thanks for that.

Have i got it wrong to say that ID1000 are 1000cc?

IDs are 1000cc.

I am going to run my ID1000s at 4 bar fuel pressure.

I think the N1 Exessive kit wont work for boosted applications the P11 will be more than fine once ported!! And there its plenty of options as far of injectors for 500whp E85 its not even necessary a well built SR20VET with some SR16 cams a good tubular manifold a 61-62mm turbo and even on stock IM will make 500whp on 93 octane easy!! I would go with the P11 and a single rail!!

I agree with Payu. A stock manifold and throttle body can handle over 600whp so 500whp is no sweat.

That's true, but installing a bigger intake would make more efficient power, a 500HP stock intake set up would get gains if you installed a bigger intake.

What i think i might do, is use the p11 runners with xcessive q45 tb. Use my brand new 850cc for now with pump gas while i break in the motor.
Sell a complete N1 intake with n1 fuel rails which should cover the cost of a top feed rail with some ID1000 or ID1300 swap the injectors when im ready to increase the boost
