Thread: Help with my aveneir swap in my 02 sport.

Repinning to a different harness plug is pretty easy. The most difficult part is finding an efficient way to push out the pins. I took a grinder to a small allen key (very hard metal) and after unlocking the harness plug and labeling the wires, the pins came out with a decent amount of pressure.

i dont know if this of any help.. but i have a 01 g20 5spd engine harness, couldnt tell u what model of g20 it came out of but its it pretty good shape.. $60 shipped if interested..

If you unlock the pins, they come out dirt easy. There are two locking that hold the pins in. One locking device locks a ton at one, and then individual pin's locks. Very easy to pull out with something like a dental pick.

Mine were a bit stubborn, even when the harness plug was in an unlocked position. Could be that they do come out easier on other plugs.

Hell, I have a 99 g20 harness already pinned for 16bit obd2 that will be getting pulled as soon as I get the motor out. Lmk if you are interested.
