Thanks, on the groud how long does it take to take off the tranny?

Depends on you... ive done it in 45 minutes trans out and back in. but i was doing it twice a season back.then. i suppose 3 hours is a good guess for someone who knows how to wrench... maybe a little longer if your not good with handling and lining up transnissions.

My personal record is 25 minutes on the side of the freeway once from the time the tire left the ground to the time the tire hit the ground. I had just dropped the hood when a CHP pulled up and asked what was going on. Needless to say he didn't believe me till my buddy pulled out the stop watch. I had bet him I could have it done under 30 minutes.

Realistically, 3 hours if you have help.
