Yep... compomotive rally wheels...

213 seems a bit low for the setup... but nevermind, the car is awesome on the road, i´ll be making some modifications to the setup and will dyno it again later on...

I dunno man it sounds fast... honestly the setup is kinda cobbled together, so nobody really knows what to expect. Also its some kind of Portuguese dyno none of us know... yes the numbers look low. What psi???

Dude you are clearly good with a wrench, creative and capable don't be discouraged.

It is fast, 10:1 compression, agressive cams, agressive timing(gtir chipped ecu), big(ish) turbo, 3" exhaust makes a hell of a ride... i´m at 7 psi right now...

I´ve drove quite a few turbo cars, as i worked for saab 5 years, but nothing near close. A std S14 200sx next to this seems slow...

As soon as i can i´ll do a bit of drag racing, just to get some timed values, and compare with some cars where i live...

I think all the effort to put the td05 in paid off, but i know i have setup for more... but with that torque my gearbox should be on borrowed time...

Yeah 7psi is low so those numbers are probably close, but drag passes will tell you more. I wouldn't be surprised if its significantly faster than those numbers would indicate... its just a dyno. I had an SE-R with a 10;1 motor and GTiR T-28 at 10 psi 260whp/245 fun fun fun.

One word of caution; My setup did detonate on the dyno while tuning so we pulled timing right in the torque peak area of 4500-5500 rpm boost was pushing out to 11psi and holding at 10 and then at 7500rpm it was just under 10. We pulled some timing and it was all good.

Would your setup accomodate a larger VF series turbo from an STi?

The car is fun for sure, the timing as been pulled and then reset back to 15º where is at the moment, it was way slower, and had a huge flatspot between 3500/5500, so i´ve been experimenting with timing and datalogging, also used the SAFC2 "knock count" estimate... i really need a dedicated tool, i think i´m fine tough...

I´m using a "Big value special engine builders" gti-r ecu, that i bought by mistake, see here: http://www.sr20-forum.com/tuning/50603-big-value-special-engine-builders-gti-r-ecu.html and god knows what is chipped too, but pretty sure the timing is pulled on boost, that´s for sure, and higher up it tends to be pretty rich, that i corrected with the safc for my setup, everywhere else just seems spot on and silky smooth...

I´m using a older TD05 STI turbo(EU market) only later ones had the VF´s, but no, i cannot use VF, since i swapped the turbine housing to a T25 type from an Alfa Romeo, see here: http://www.sr20-forum.com/turbo/46138-td04l-13t-wrx-turbo-sr20de-t-2.html

But i can get bigger compressor housings... the subarus have gigantic aftermarket options...

Not bad for a 100USD turbo...

10.1 comp with a SR20DET GTiR timing map sounds like a bad idea. The timing map on that GTiR computer is going be more aggressive because the comp ratio is lower on the gti-r. You could end up burning a hole in your pistons like that.

Yea i know, but there´s no signs of severe detonation on the SAFC2, in fact i get almost the same as i did when n/a... i did pull the timing several times, but the car runs soo bad, and that huge flatspot in the midrange... also i can´t seem to hear knock, and i did when i had swift gti´s... i think i know how it sounds...

I just wish i knew what the ecu was tuned for... the AFR´s are spot on right now, it took some time tough...

The stock gtir ecus have agressive timing off boost right? but on boost?

Also do you guys recomend any kind of standalone knock detection device?
