Okay guys, this is how my day went, woke up at 630 am got ready and headed to CT. I barrowed a friends GoPro to take videos (coming soon).
Everything was smooth down. We ran the car Met with Jamie and Mark and others. Jamie showed us around and it was awesome, Nissan heaven.
Plus got to peep on. Few GTR's making big power.
We got her on the dyno!
Everything was great Jamie locked her in and we doubled checked everything. And did our first pass, Jamie corrected the ignition and fuel in steps all the way to 8k.
This was the first pull.
I learned that the S14 turbo has a t25 housing which it's a hybrid, so we kept her @ 15lbs to keep her safe. After some adjustment we ended up with a nice balanced graph and decent wheels.
On the way home we had some fun!!!!
Coming out of a toll she spun through first and half was through second something let go. We pulled her over on the mass pike 2+ hours from MAINE! After investigating we found out that she was squeeling. It almost sounded like belts but pulling the intake it resulted in the turbine having shaft play rubbing against the housing and the spinning of the turbo felt grainy.
long story short I'm sitting in Auburn Mass waiting for a tow right now
BUT Jamie did an excellent job with dialing in my car as considering the set up I'm pretty happy with the numbers! Ill post videos soon!
