Thread: GTiR Injectors - Same as any other SR20?

Looked around on the forums but couldn't find where this question was answered.

Are the injectors for the GTiR the same as any other SR20 (highport or lowport)? I'm not even sure if they're side or top feed.

Any insight is welcomed.

Nope - GTi-R are 440cc top fed - Majority of others are smaller.

So, can I use any other top feed SR20 injector, or is there a special size (physical) that needs to be used?

You can get top feed rails through jwt or jgy (jgy-not recommended) not sure on the oem top feed rails. You will also need to wire in resistors aswell as these are low impedance injectors.

There are already resistors wired into my harness. The stock GTiR injectors are low impedance. Regular SR20DE injectors (RR, for example) aren't... are they?

You can use MSD 72lb or 96lb - Should still be available from JWT as a plug and play option.

you may want to just get some deatchworks 850 cc injectors if your going to buy anything. the stock injectors start running out at 370ish even at 4 bar fp.
