VVL Turbo Issues
i have an VVL Turbo set up with T4 Turbo, log mani and JW 50lb program, I recently spun a bearing
and changed my engine but since the rebuild the car does not rev out smoothly beyond 5k even while the car is on boost, ive already checked and flow tested my injectors, checked and sorted all vacuum leaks, even changed my headgasket but the problem still persists, but my solenoids are leaking a bit of oil, but im not sure if it could be the cause

did you check your ignition system?

did you try another ecu/dizzy/coil/plugs/wires etc? to isolate the problem...

did you code the ecu, to see if there is any issue?

is your knock sensor connected/working?

i was having a similar problem recently when i changed manifolds.. i ended up needing to make my spark plug gap smaller, once i did it has been running great.. i believe i ended up at .25 from .31..

If you use the correct tool, and are not a complete monkey, you can gap iridium plugs without issue. Just don't expect to gap them the same way you gap a copper plug. You can't have the gapping tool touch the iridium electrode tip and use it for leverage. You have to close the gap without touching the plated surfaces.

im a monkey for sure.. i touch shit and it breaks lol.. so i either buy the ones in the right gap size, or just use coppers..

what do the afr's look like in boost. sounds like you have a fuel or spark issue.
