Nice dude. glad its running good. you always want to run the correct matching components on your car. and since a 54c engine is 8.3:1 compression and your UK spec engine is 10:1 you need to be very careful with the timing since a map for a gtir is much more aggressive because of the less chance of detonation.

Base timing is only part of the game. depends what the timing map is like. just be careful and listen for detonation.

I´m using a chipped gtir ecu, 20º stock timing, brought it back to 15ºdeg, DE stock timing, previously i had it, in n/a form at 17ºdeg...

By the only datalog i did with new injectors, it seems rich trough out... didn´t seem to hear no knock... in fact the car run great...

When i have the time i´ll do more logs...

The setup as it stands:

Td05h16g sti turbo
SAFC2 + gti-r chipped ecu
gti-r maf
STI 440cc injectors
3" exhaust and downpipe
gigantic FMIC, 2.5 piping

Any more opinions on timing????
