Mazworx head stud torque
Just trying to confirm the final torque for the nuts on these head studs. 65lb/ft seemed a little on the low side, but that is what their instructions said. Can anyone confirm from experience?

Re: Mazworx head stud torque
Thanks for the info! Anyone have any experience with the standard size studs? 65lb/ft of torque just seems really low to me...

65lb/ft sounds perfectly fine. Everybody has been over-torqueing head studs for years around here. Lots of repetition of bad info.

I know the ARP studs for the iron block e30 were spec'd for ~60 ft-lbs. No reason our aluminum blocks would use any more.
