Feels like not going anywhere when it hits boost
My p10 feels like if the transmission was slipping (car revs up but it doesn't go anywhere) when it hits boost. The only thing i could think of is the tranny cable that i adjusted a few weeks back (it wasn't doing this before), is there something else i sh ould be looking at? I thought it was due to bad weather so i never re-adjusted it back, however what else could be causing this?

Well sounds like you adjusted your transmission cable too tight. Sometimes they are known to stretch and such (although "stretched" may sounds counter intuitive. The point is they change shapes from time to time)

That's what i thought it could be, i'm going to re-loosen the cable tomorrow (its too dark by the time i get home) and go from there, i'll keep u updated, thx for your prompt replies.

I loosened the cable and this helped the issue a lot!, however it is not completely gone. How loose is this cable supposed to be? I loosed it a lot, it helped it a lot but when i gas it (when im trying to climb through RPM's) you still feel the car slipping a little, not as much as before tho (deff not, before u couldn't hit boost without getting that slipping feeling) but when going into high rpm's or even accelerating the car a lot (say half way to the pedal's limit) you will feel it slipping still, as long as i drive it easy and nice the car is fine until i try pushing its limits... I know the clutch is not fully broken into yet, could this be part of the issue ?

you should be able to move the clutch arm 2-3mm in both directions by hand. if not the cable is to tight. did you follow the break in on the clutch. the stage 3 uses a kevlar friction surface that will glaze if not broken in right. If you glazed it the disk is no good and the flywheel will need to be resurfaced.

Yah, and if it is a Kevlar disc that could also explain why it is slipping some. They don't grab well until after they have been broken in. That takes 500 miles of easy driving.
Like Mike said, make sure at rest that clutch cable is putting zero tension on the clutch arm. There should be some play there.

It is possible the Kevlar disc has glazed already and will never recover. =(

I don't have any experience with turboes or anything. But when i bought my six puck jgy clutch (my first one) it felt like it wasn't grabbing(slipping feel)..drove like a grandma for about 2-3 months. When i got on it after that it grabbed like a beast! Maybe you just need to break in that clutch...

I'm gonna try finish the break in period first, and ill go from there as the car drives and grabs fine under 5k (rpm) ill be updating this post once the clutch is fully broken into.
