bog and hesitation problem after turbo install
i just finished installing a turbo on my 95 200sx with lowport sr20de

when car is cold it runs fine and holds boost as soon as the car heats up to operating temp from like 0 to 3k rpms it bogs and jerks when boost breaks through car runs fine past 3k rpms

i know my idle air control valve is bad cause i have a idle problem before i put the turbo onebut i never had as boging problem when accelerating im start troubleshooting as soon as i get the chance

parts changed for turbo setup

walbro fuel pump
nismo fpr set to 44psi (3 bar )
370cc injectors
z32 maf
jwt ecu set for everything above

if you guy have had this problem before please point me in the right direction so i can get this thing running right quick like to have my car on the road asap

Bad AFR's are probably the culprit, too lean or too rich. At first I thought it was spark blowout, but you mentioned it being fine in higher RPM's.

u have to bump up your fuel psi to 4 bar. 59psi
the jwt 370cc program demands that fuel psi setting.

im having some light throttle issues my self, my car likes to run in the 17+ afrs down hill with light throttle, or light throttle after decel it'll be in the mid 16's, this causes a split second stumble and terrible throttle response.. not sure exactly what the issue is, it wasn't as bad during summer but now its driving me nuts! my idle afr's and most cruise afrs and wot afrs are all good, its just that pesky post decel crap, but if i give it a little more throttle then level it out its fine..

not tryin to thread jack, my point is though that wacky afrs can cause problems, do you have a wideband?

idk cause when i order the ecu from jwt i order the 3 bar program with 370cc injector and z32 maf on 93 pump gas the car only acts up when its hot and the stock coolant temp guage stays in the middle i still need to get a good look at the car next week

im working on getting a wideband i literly installed the turbo yesterday lol still a work in progess

and thanks for all the replies guys

your iacv can actually have a lot to do with this. If your iacv is cracked open the motor is sucking more air than it should be all the time. I'm willing to bet your plugs are white simply from that iacv problem before the boost. Fix all the issues and then check back.

im just unaware the there is a 3 bar tune from jwt. i know they love to tune the 370cc for 4 bar on a turbo setup.

but like stated above trying and get everything dialed in and fixed (IAC) before u drive yourself crazy

Sure JWT has a 3 bar program..... Most people just opt for the 4 bar program because it will give you more head room with only the cost of a adj fpr
