Thread: 6 speed swap poll - issues?

for the record I ordered my 6 spd kit 2/29/12

I ordered mine sometime around December 2010 if I remember correctly.

Oh man you guys are scaring me, i just received my mazworx mounts...

Hurry and hook it up and check the spacing. Hopefully they can resolve the issue before it becomes one!

Nothing to be scared of. This is a very minor issue that overall really doesnt affect driveability of the setup. Even with the issue the swap is more than worth it and this is something that can be easily fixed and im sure mazworx will take care of their customers. What ill end up doing when I put mine back together is just look at the alignement, make some measurements and then redrill new bolt holes for the mount to the frame rail. Simple as that and done.

This really isnt that big of a deal, while its still something that needs to be resolved, its very minor in all aspects of things.

I got mine a few weeks ago, gonna start my swap soon

Still need to send the hubs out to get redrilled and need the clutch master cylinder resovior. I ordered mine end of last year not sure of time frame need to check. Hope to start the swap soon though.

not having this issue, as i dont plan on going 6sp any time soon...

but from the looks of it...can you just mount the mount torwards the rear a bit more & get the sleeve centered around the mount.?

I mean you guys (at least from the pics) dont seem to be welding threse in...
