Thread: sr20det limp mode? any ideas? thinking the ecu is toast?

Hey guys. I'm a new bluebird u12 Sr20det owner bought the car about 3 weeks. Only drove it for 10minutes (car is in limp mode) wont rev past 1500rpm after it gets to operation temperature. So far replaced: fuel filter, fuel pump, all fluid is new, new plugs, wires, clutch, thermostat, Maf, heater core, o2 sensor . To try and find the problem. Ecu reads code 55 (no codes/no malfunction) it has the catylitic converter light on. But had a test pipe in place. Starting to think its just the ecu? Any ideas?
