they dont state its like 200% over stock but trust me this thing holds a lot

+1 they hold pretty good until what you just described -- too much power (beyond 400+ lb-ft) -- old -- used... I'm still using it but I only have a GT2860RS

I see whole kits on eBay for under $300. They are pucks though .
