Setup For more Response
Dash,

I need some help in getting some more response or low end power/tq in my setup:

GTI-R Stock motor(cams, inj, etc)
Megan Racing S15 Manifold:

S15 BB T28 turbo
Custom Downpipe,(had to cut and re-weld a Megan Racing outlet to liine up)
3" full exhaust(no cat, not mandrel bent, but crush)
Jun ECU(Tuned For 555cc inj, Z32 MAF, 8200rpm)
Apexi SAFC II

Here is a picture of how the left side cold side piping is routed. Also was mocking up a air box:

I have a turbo smart dual boost controller. low is 10psi and 15 is hi.

Currently it will achieve full boost just above 3k. Boost response feels better at 15, or maybe its just the 15 instead of 10.

Basically i just want some advice on other things i can do to get some more low end. My a/f ratios are within a good range, normally 10.5 to 11.5. To help get it started, here is some ideas I have:
i) S3 gti-r cam from JW.
ii) Custom Screamer pipe setup
iii) More Timing
iv) redo exhaust bends with mandrel pipe
v)port a lil of the turbo exhaust housing(wastgate)

Also another question would be if the rwd manifolds ports match the gtir motor exhaust ports?

thanks for any help and let me know if there are some questions. here is a run of my last dexterity with the car. oh I don't have an lsd gearbox right now but will be installing one before the end of the month.

Every one of your ideas is a good start for gaining response. Obviously more timing would work but more fuel would be needed as well. Clean your AFRs up a bit better than 10.5. 11.2:1 to 12:1 would be ideal.

Wouldn't 12 be a bit high. The temps around here normally hot. 85+ and 90+ in the summers. That one of the reasons of why the rations were on the low side.

**also note that in the picture it show a Z32 MAF, but that MAF is no longer working and I am using the stock GTI-R MAF with the blow tru setup. i have read before that these MAF are not good on a blow tru setup and i can see why because of the decrease in size in a "charged" pipe. i keeped it like this so if one of the couplers blew off then i can still drive the car somewhere to repair it.
