Im sure all of the SR18DE are the same (not comparing High with low ports tho)

That where you would be wrong. the Nissan Primera came with the sr18de rated at 125hp. I had one. Also know a close friend who had a b13 gts. Do some research. sr18 from the gts is tune a bit more than stock and also came with an lsd gearbox. every other sr18 are pretty much the same.

I had a think about this last night. The SR18DE uses a small bore rather than stroke like the SR16VE, Maybe this will create a stronger bottom end. I don't think the compression is THAT high. I do have some SR18DE Pistons, rods and crank if anyone needs some measurements.

iirc the sr18de was 9:5:1 from the factory. could not tell you the compression on it with out knowing the specs on the sr18de head. I did a little searching and found this (sr20de head will fit perfect on the 1800 block and will make 8.3:1 compression ratio put 1800 cams and roller rockers in this will perfect for turbo conversion like what i have done safely running 10psi).

They have those

Also what are you guys calling high compression? 10:1? Cause thats been boosted a million times already. Its not high comp with the gas we have nowa days. If my block was gone and I had an SR18 I wouldnt even question boosting it as long as the compression was good.
