Tu le has dado resurface y deck height a la tapa y el motor?

One thing that usually happens is they do deck height on the block and forget the oil pump...

I would also at least check the stretch on the head studs to make sure they are still in spec. Your afr's sound right but that does not mean you do not have a timing issue. what do your plugs looks like? Check the pistons for signs of detonation.


well next step im goind to do is that.. my head stud are bran new i only use that 2 time max .. this one are new, i will check if they are on spec to reuse it for a se ond time, on monday i check that and post some pics how my gasket are and pistons, lets see what i found

If your getting the block surfaced make sure to include the oil pump so the deck height will be the same as Digitek mentioned.

OMG !!! i think thats the problem !!!!! oil pump !! i remember when i close that engine one of my friend says to me there is a problem on oil pimp surface and block, and i forgot to chek than and now you say that i remember that!! if that is the problem i will win the Stupid guy on heart award!! jajaja digitek awnser the phone !!

give it a go, get ur head, block and pump resurfaced and another vet metal and proper torquing specs and u should be good.

I got a question to Digitek, como demonios ustedes hacen para usar las de RWD en FWD,

estoy preguntando eso por que siempre he querido bajar la compression de la tapa VVL simple con una de esas juntas que son 1.3mm de Apexi. Aqui en el foro siempre han dicho que no es possible usar una junta rwd.

Yeah either there is problems with the oil pump height or head and block surfaces. You shouldnt be blowing gaskets out.

creo q hay q trabajarlas donde va la bomba se aceite.. y de esa manera se puede usar

Saludos, para bajarle la compression vienen juntas cometic de 1.2mm y las hacen tambien de mas.

Para usar una junta de RWD necesitas tirar una linea de aceite externa.
Eso se hace cuando el bloque es de DE y le ponen la tapa de VE. Aqui hay varios posts y tutoriales de hacer eso.

Pero si tienes un VE completo lo mejor es montarle una junta ancha para VE y ya.

Si necesitas bajar mucha compression para turbo adicional de montar pistones low comp. puedes abrirle los chambers a la tapa.
