Your setup looks very promising. Why not a bigger turbo with your motor built like it is (I'm not saying 400whp isn't enough or anything ) Either way though it looks like you will be taking that GT2871r for everything its worth

i have HEAVILY thought bout selling the 2871 and upgrading to a 30r or 35r depending on where the setup would be heading, BUT the 2871 ALL the power the 2871 makes is VERY streetable, and has a VERY useable owerband which is really nice.

upgrading to a larger turbo would yeild me more whp, but it wouldnt be as streetable and i wouldnt want a short powerband.

that and my WHOLE setup is geared around the 2871r as my manifold is t2 my downpipe is custom made for the turbo, i have very little clearence as it is with the 2871 let alone getting a even larger AR housing and larger compessor housing i dont think there would be any room for the radiator...clearence is VERY tight, cost for upgrading all of those parts wouldnt be cheap

yeah pretty much everything fixed itself really, it was ALOT of drama, but in the end it worked out.

i went and got the dyno sheet tody (car is still at shop im awaiting topick it up.)

but cross compared the first and second run @ 8lbs then the second at 10lbs solid, and the car picked up 30whp and 25wtq from 2lbs of boost.

car was tuned on a pretty solid 12.0 WOT air Fuel ratio

car also is seeing full bost at 3600rpm cant complain about that (esp since the turbo has the large .86AR)

i am definily weighing my options as far as bolt ons go, air intake manifold,throttle body,cam gears, those are out the only bolt ons i dont have, those and some more tuning i think would be real nice.

Nice job man. So your cams are like S4 type of spec? I don't think you need any more bolt-ons. Its just more boost and tuning until you max out injectors/turbo. Maybe an MSD ignition.

comparing my camshafts to the s4 the s4 are more aggresive, HOWEVER altho, the camshafts arent as aggressive i do think they are a nice contribution to th engine as they are making great low end to high midrange power, also feel they contributed to my full boost being at 3600rpm with that large AR which is great, but AGAIN i feel this setup i all about streetablility, its not a dyno queen 9krpm reving setup, its a very streetable , and high horsepower output setup.

you definitly said it benito, more tuning and more boost, maybe ignition upgrade, i tihnk the most whp i have seen a 240sx make with he 2871r .86 was like 420whp, so i know the turbo is good or somewhere around there, so even as of now the turbo till has alotof room to shine, esp since the turbo isnt even in ts boost efficent ange yet.....the owner of the shop/tuner was VERY eager to see what this woud have mad at higher psi, but as of now im taped out as far as money goes, 5 hours of tuning + gas for tuning + 2 hours labor of figuring out problems really added up but all in all worth it.
