id say it just depends on your tuning, anything is safe as long as you have the needed tuning and counter parts for supporting those types of levels of psi

i've just read that the t3/t4 doesn't start to come alive until 10psi + , so i'm thinking about somewhere around 15psi...i just don't want my 124k mile de to blow up, lol

You must have been replying to DxPxE's mention of the need for MSD after 17-18 psi. Yah, factory ignition seems to be good for tons and tons of boost. I don't really know of anyone having to replace it with something better.

Maybe DxPxE was talking about an MSG ignition timing module. If so, he's on the right path.

The accepted limit of the B13 transmission (3rd gear) is 250-280 HP. This is well above the 8psi limit you speak of. Where are you getting your information from? Links please.

not on his turbo, well depends on the turbo. But my old smaller T3/T04 at 9psi did 260whp.
