big turbos are nice when you pop the hood thats about it. T28's, street tires, and 12's are where its at.

You ain't doing that with anything less than a GT30 and 20 psi!

Small turbo for the circuit!

Big turbo for the strip!

LOL your vid just proved my point. You either bogged or spun. I woulda been gone by then with an 18g and 20psi. Midrange and top end. Not just topend. Also your 125mph trap is totally doable with a T2 and more midrange.

I love watching vids of Vettes or V8's with way less HP walk away from a huge turbo car until like 180mph lol. By then its time to let off and the big turbo just started spooling.

I want my motor to feel like a bigger displacement NA motor as much as possible. Not having boost till 4500 and then a freight train isnt something I am interested in for a FWD traction limited car. 240 yeah. NX or Sentra naaa!

I liked having the accessibility of the T3 turbo, plus easier to run piping to. T2 turbo is more functional for a daily, just more painful to fit the hot side piping with the xmember and motor mount being in the way.

Ashton is pushing the limits no doubt and others will follow im sure in the future...
Im enjoying my small framed turbo now and will move to a bigger turbo one day..
But around here ( NJ ) the Honda boys have been going big or going home on the street cars...

Carla racing,I remember when the car use to be deep into 9's with full interior, leather seats, indash and a box in the back. Rumor says that car is over the 1,000 whp.It has gone into the 8's a few times this season,24.5x9 and air to air.
