Can we see pics of your set up? Cuz I never thought it was worth spending all that money on switching over to e85 .... But if those are power numbers you guys get on a T25 then it might be a good project to take on.

Spending all what money 1...low? It takes about $400 to switch to e85. Well....that and a set of big injectors. Get a wideband, SAFC, and nice set of injectors and your good. You could make power on a DE with e85. Theres nothing special about my setup. Its a built DET with top feed 750cc RC injectors, Tial 38mm wastegate, Avenir manifold, stock Avenir T25

Vid^^

I recomend anyone going turbo to invest in at least some 50lbers/500cc+ inj with a T25 anyway. 370's are great. But your gonna wind up upgrading anyway so why not start out bigger so you dont have to spend the time again.

Its looking like I might be able to pull out 60-65 miles city out of a quarter tank. But well see. Ive been pussy footing it around all day. Thats about 240 miles to a tank which aint great. But it aint bad at all considering how much more fuel im dumping. Now I just gotta figure out if I go to the convention what route I can take to keep my tank full. Either that or just switch back to 93 and re tune

the benifits of e85 would be greater on a de over a det proving they both have a snail attached.

higher comp creates more heat and detonation. E85 suppresses heat and detonation. So the benefits are seen more in high boost or high comp situations. With both, the benefits are the best. The slightly bigger cams are also nice, nothing to do with e85, but the de cams are well suited to the t25

Idk how you can say you disagree. Its a fact, the more knock limited you are (ie higher cr) the better your gains will be from switching to e85.
