clocking avenir t25

i've spent the last 2 days searching and i can't find the thread i read about clocking a t25 without removing the c-clip....tried for 3 days to get the clip to move and it's a no go.....i GOTTA get this new engine in and this is the only thing holding me up at this point.....anyone got ANY tips for doing this?
