your reading the graph wrong johnny. The graphs are almost identical until 4500 and the s4's take over. Again that is with a t28 as well.

You guys are looking at max whp while im looking at max tq as early as possible and as much as possible. A maxxed out t25 (yes I'm doing this again lol) with e85 is most likely gonna make the same max numbers with s4's or stock cams. But I'm wondering if the stock cams would make more tq at the spike. I'm thinking the s4's could make the spike less "powerful" since they shift the power band over

This is true. On the red 13 we dropped in BC2's, boost dropped put picked a few horsepower in the mid, held the power a bit better up. Not much in change though, the little t25 is maxxed out. 340 on a hot 95degree day 350-355whp on a cool 80degree evening. In short peak numbers were the same, area under the curve and after was better, with less boost due to increased efficiency.

I liked my S3's much more than my S4's with my disco, I find top end cars boring. Sure you peak 10whp but at the loss of low/mid? Fuck that.

S4s are really nice!
I ran them in the 3 turbo setups, T25, then GTiR T28 and finally a T60, and they rock!
I never felt anything but gain with the T25 setup on S4s vs the stock cams

there is no loss in mid range just look at that graph posted

this is a pointless argument until you put it on the dyno and see for yourself

Only in Florida.

If a T25 can put down those kinds of numbers, then a Disco should be good for nearly 500.

FWHP = Florida Wheel Horsepower?

I really don't know where this lost in mid is coming from. I think people are confusing the gain from the top and think that it is loss in the mid range? IDK

hahaha, those are some rediculous numbers from a t25. All i can say is E85 has everything to do with that. Because even on C16 race fuel, I could not keep the t25 from causing detonation in the mid range when spiking 21 lbs of boost and boost fell to 14-15psi by redline. Just completely out of breath and always caused problems. After 13-14 lbs of boost with s4 cams the t25 is nothing but hot air and backpressures go through the roof. Just not big enough to move that much exhaust gases through the turbine and wastegate.

I wanted to make big power so i went with a T3, plain and simple.
