Help Idetifing Engine BB or Stock DE-T?
Okay guy's i have been searching for my answers here and on both Sr20forums but couln't find what i needed it. Q's are?

Is this the BlueBird engine I now this is a T28 turbo. I went to a shop venus-Auto and they saud this was a BB engine but a forum member came and said that the injectors should be purple and that it din't have oil squirters. The oil lines are not connected were they should be only the returning line is. But the feed goes were the oil filter is at. I need help i was reading a thread hot to i detefy ur engine but it din't say what color injectors it should have.

1995 G20 OBD11

Im swapping a BB engine or aveir in my car this week im going to go pick one out at venusaito.

So when installing it do i use my distrubitor since it's a OBD11?

What else should i use from my car?

i now i need to swap as many sensors as i can. but what else?

I now i need to go pick up a programer to. since i don't have a extra ecu to send to calum.

I have BC STG 2 cams. Im going to get just the springs sinc i don't now how to change retainers. Do the cams fit?

I already have UR pulleys that im going to put.

i think i might buy a flywheel but a 11lb.

Well any help is aprecciated I now thers a thread on the swap but couldn't find it. But i need details like the distrubitor since its OBD11.

These are pictures from the engine.

Hard to tell from pics... from the looks of the surroundings they could have swapped the oil filter housing... but to make sure take one picture of under the intake manifold from the back of the motor... I can tell from the routing of the iacv --> the bluebird has a wierd mount back there that is supposed to mount to the awd tranny.

So when installing it do i use my distrubitor since it's a OBD11?
--- The picture shows that it already has a obd2 distributor on it.

What else should i use from my car?
--- Be a little more descriptive. You'll use your harness, and that motor...

i now i need to swap as many sensors as i can. but what else?
--- coolant temp sensor and any sensor that affects your cluster.

--- BC cams are made to fit any non VVL SR20

I already have UR pulleys that im going to put.
--- The engine in the pics already has aftermarket pulleys...

I am a little confused when you say "I have BC STG 2 cams. Im going to get just the springs sinc i don't now how to change retainers. Do the cams fit?"

you are gonna have to pull the retainers off to get the springs out.

there was a few things I saw that made me think that this is not a det motor. The oil drain fitting was not factory because the previous owner of the motor siliconed the sh*t out of it, there was not a place for the water return line to hook up to after the thermostat housing, no oil squirters, wrong injectors, also there was not a spot for the oil feed line to hook up to in front of the block. The oil feed line was not original, it was a standard steel brake line and if it was a bluebird motor, why did it have a pulsar manifold and t28 turbo on it? It looked like a standard sr20de and the owner added a turbo kit to it.

looks like standard de injectors also. How much did you pay for the motor, i was almost going to ask you if you could take a pic of the front side of the block for the oil drain and feed lines one for coolant and one for oil that are suppost to come from front of the block. Looks like a DE+T. interesting
