Crap, same exact thing just happened to me.... This is my second gearbox, i cant believe they cant even take the power from a T25. I was able to use all the gears but 3rd, but half way home, I could not get it out of 2nd gear, 35mph all the way to home... (¬_¬)'

^^^^Thats because all the metal shavings pile up under the shift linkages inside the trans as appears here.....

Mine actually was making a hell of a lot of noise before even when i first put it in, by inspection due to bearings on the front of the gearstack. It didnt like 8psi for very long. It started grinding and chunking in all gears and then totally gave out when i was cruising in 5th at 60mph, tried to put it in fourth and it got stuck in 4th and had no 4th gear either. but then again this is what my gears looked like....

so far i got one out of a 200sx with 138k miles on it and its held up great and is very quiet with no problems so far.... running 17psi on occasion. bleeds to 10 by 5500rpms. Hopefully it will last a lot longer than that last one. if i ever get the cash a P11 trans and hydro clutch conversion is in the plans.

Do any g20's or 98-99se/se-l owners have any carnage or are the lsd trannys more liable to shearing. Maybe the one wheel wonder action saves it?

UPDATE: The new tranny is in, and the car is back up and running. I couldn't get ahold of the b15 tranny though so I had to settle for a b13 tranny its good to have the car back up and running though woot woot!

Even if they were stronger... believe me. You don't want a non-lsd trans for turbo... it would be so weakjuice.
