I know Pat personally. He is very new to the sr20 deal. I am trying to point him in the right direction. My first advice was to not buy a dismantled 54C.
Id forget about this build. Buy a de, forged pistons stock bore, rods cams, big turbo, big injectors and make 500whp all day. Spend the money saved on a transmission.
Or buy a det and make 500whp on e85 with big turby setup. Gotta keep it simple.
Nothing really special about a gtir besides it being more of pita to get parts for.
Wait, if you only want 350 whp a bone stock de will do that on pump93 with a big turbo. Or e85 t28 extenal gate. You seem to be dropping money where you wont really need it instead of a trans which you will need.
But what do i onow?

Patrick, sell everything you have and lets start over from square 1. The engine you have isn't worth dumping all this money into. In the end you will just have a temperamental engine that you won't be able to maintain.
First build keep it simple and learn without losing your wallet along the way. Built motors are all find and dandy but not for 350hp when these stock de's take a damn beating and keep on making you smile
I agree with everyone here..... Don't over complicate things. You have no idea how many people I have seen who have good intentions but over think what they need for their goals and never even end up finishing it. The best part about a boosted setup is actually getting to drive it. You should sell what you have and drop a stock de with a basic setup..... Tuned well on the dyno. This is very important.... What is the point of having an over built setup? The reason I love the sr20 is the fact that you don't have to rip it apart to make good power. Plus if it blows up, you can buy another for the price of a set of forged pistons. It is easier and less work to swap in a jdm de and boost the hell out of it. Did I mention, get the car tuned on the dyno? lol
