54c build
54c build about to start. this is what i was thinking. scrap the de head. do a 54c block/ manifolds with a ve head, 20v cams, and a 60 trim with a.82 turbine housing. what do you think i will run with this set up?

Im beginning to feel as though im the laughing stock of this forum. lol. But facts are guess who is on top of that 1/4 mile time list and has been from the beginning. lol.

Ill turn that 11.1 into a 9.XX soon enough and let you witness it first hand at the Convention. Just try not to be dumbfounded when it happens

I know, I know you guys like giving me a hard time. Probably because I put up with it and its fun. But yeah I dont really care. Just words to me. I know Ive made, to you guys, outlandish predictions or claims but still, crap happens. But fact is my car and build has been putting it down without really anything major for a while now. Just havent gotten enough seat time at the track to really bring out the potential without something minor happening.

If you already have the block go ahead but i think a bluebird block or VVL block is a good enough choice. I did the 54c block because thats what I ran in my car since 1998 and had one laying around. You will have to send the head and gasket to the machine shop to be drilled to fit that block. The waterpump is different to any other SR20 and you have to drill the flywheel for bigger bolts to fit. Just something to think about while you still have a choice. It will make over 400hp easy but so will the other blocks.

I know a car that ran 11.3 with way less boost than what you were running and way more weight than your car on low boost. The top of that list is just the push of a button away but the guy doesn't care about being at the top of any list.
