Okay I will recirc because I've already bought the flange for my BOV and is is more stealthy and is the more correct way to do it. So i assume hot side make more sense as the recirc hose will be much shorter. Or...?

Again its not really a shortcut, in the picture of things it doesnt really matter, may effect driveability only very slightly when coming out of boost and pushing the clutch in. Affecting mainly idle stabilization.

It all depends on what you want, if you want a nice loud sound from the bov then open, if you want it more stealthy and a better coming out of acceleration idle quality then recirc it. Its just one of those things that doesnt really matter is more of a preferance to the owner.

One way is no more right than the other.

My blitz BOV on my S13SR is on the hot pipe, and it blows off to atmosphere. IMO, you really don't gain anything by recirc'ing the BOV - or at least not enough for it to be worth the trouble.

coors75, I'm not going to address individual advice you've gotten, I'll just answer the questions you've asked.

BOV on hot side is fine if it makes your recirculation run much shorter. Otherwise I do like to see it as close to the throttle body as possible.

Yes, you should recirculate the BOV. As you know, the ECU, fueling, and MAF will be happier. Aside from that, you'll get much better boost response during up-shifts. Venting to atmosphere is for the lazy and uneducated.

Your circle by yellow valve is not a good spot to recirculate and thankfully someone else mentioned that. That air has already been measured by the MAF once. You don't want to measure it again.

I can't help you with the vacuum source. To be sure, you need to trace it back to its origin and trace any branches off of it to determine if it will be a good boost/vacuum source.
