Thread: DE Connecting Rods?

I've been searching and searching and cant find a definitive answer. Is there a Difference between DE connecting rods and DET rods?(non-GtiR) Basically, could i replace one rod in my W10 SR20DET with one from an N/A SR20? i'm trying to get this car up and running as soon as possible.

If im not mistaken there is a slight size difference in the det rods compared to the DE rods, not much but slight. While they use the same bearings and so on, im sure they are different weights even if its slight could cause issues with harmonics being 3 are heavier than the other. However small and insignificant it might be its up to you. Yes they do fit and can go in the motor but its up to you.

DET rod is quite a bit beefier.
