Thread: Colorado 1999 se-l

Hey everyone,

So i have a really nice 1999 SE-L and I was just wondering what are the smog rules and regulations in the state of COLORADO. Im thinking about moving there soon and it would be awesome to be able to upgrade my car because shes such a nice car.

Such upgrades like: Turbo/ supercharger 7-11 psi, headers, intake, exhausts system, ecu upgrades.

I pretty much need to know what I can do to my car in Colorado with the SE-L because i know there are a lot of upgrades for the car and I really want to do them

I think that might depend on where in Colorado. As the different altitudes of the cites will affect the way the engine works(I.e. Higher air = thinner air ex. Denver, Co.)

From what I've read, in CO around Denver and other big cities there are smog checks. Supposedly you just need a cat and you should pass.
