Small cooland leaks ?
As most ppl here know, i blew my turbo like 2 months back so went through the process of replacing it and what not, then my car wouldn't start, i got it to start today. Now the problem is a small antifreeze leak coming from somewhere behind the block as it runs down the back of the oil pan. It leaks a small amount as of now, but before i've seen it leak a lot (ie. when the turbo blew it started leaking) what could this be ?

It is somewhere up there by the intake manifold I GUESS, i can't see where the leak it's coming from at all so i can't stop it, some have told me that it could be the water pump as it is on the left side of the engine but i'm not sure what it could and not be, anybody has had this problem before ? any idea where it could really be coming from ?

I'm afraid i might need to take the Intake Manifold off just to find out where is it rlly coming from so im just wondering if any1 knows anything about this b4 i do take it off.

Dont i have to take it off time to change the waterpump? (like honda's) if i do then might as well put in a metal headgasket as everything is pretty much going to be off

you can replace the water pump with the motor in the car and the head on. Before you do anything do a leakdown test and verify the head gasket is intact.

no timing chain can stay in place if you do not remove the head. if you remove the head set the motor at tdc before doing so.

Oh no i thought it was a timing belt not chain my bad, if i dont need to re-time the car then no need to complicate a simple job any step by step guides anywhere? Im going to do a small research on that
