Lol...yuh should ask Kevin (Kevwal) on here how many gear boxes he went through already. I not gonna say exactly but I know it's in the teens, maybe more. It sickening...lol.

So far as I know the bluebird box and gtir box are just as fragile. The 2001 or 2002 P11 g20 (primera) gear box and the US B15 SR20DE sentra gear box is usually the one commonly used on turbo set ups. You could also go through the switch to 6 speed, there's a major guide on both setups here.

You mean the 6 speed internals in the same sr20 housing?

The 6 speed gearbox, mated to a p12 bellhousing for the SR engine. Allows the RS6 trans to work on your SR. There are modifications needed. And it isn't cheap. but the transmission is stronger by quite a bit.

Not bullet-proof, mind you. But stronger.

Try the p11 first before the 6spd.

Try running the Valvoline 85w140 gear oil and be surprised at how much longer the box lasts. Kev went through a lot of boxes before putting in the Valvoline 85w140 and so far soo good and he drives the same way and drag races the car pretty often and soo far soo good.

Many others have switched to this as well after I told them how much better it is. Redline shockproof or any other oil has not even come close to comparing. The valvoline will make the shifts better and the shock resistant properties of the oil are much better than even the shockproof. I broke a gearstack using pretty much every other oil out there and went to this and 9 months of torture on my b13 box and its still being used in another car now with 350+, mine was at 450+whp daily, roughly 550whp on 30psi.

Im now using the 6 speed trans with 85w140 in it and again not a single problem. The 6 speed is by far stronger than the b13/b14/b15 trans but I would give the gear oil a shot first and if you go through another one look at your other options.

P11 (2001 or 2002 G20/Primera) or SR20DE B15 SE 5 speed should be fine.

The 6 speed is as Coheed has said, and is not as straight forward. He's one of the 6 speed users with a B13.

I am curious to see how strong these 6 speed boxes actually are. Who as actually thrown big power at one?

Maybe Ashton and Coheed can speak to 6 speed strength and numbers. I haven't seen many others. I know theres a B14 4 door with the 6 speed too but don't know his numbers.

The 4 door B14 is a NA car if my mind serves me right.

As for Ashton and Coheed they are or atleast we think (right Ashton? LULZ) making power that a regular box can hold.
