All crank pulley questions like yours blurr should be answered in this thread: http://www.sr20-forum.com/howtos/24618-how-crank-pulley-oil-pump-spacer-all-common-combinations-explained.html

If not, ask again in that thread please.

crash course, looking at your pics above of your modification to the DET baffle, I'm glad you got good advice and came up with the right solution. That is one of the better ways to accomplish your goal. Cheers.

Edit: Oh damn I crash course posted in that thread a long time ago and did not get an answer. I'm sorry about that!

It might be time for a How To on the VE pick-up tube.

I am using the aluminum Mossy VE pulley, I assume that is the same as the normal VE.

As for modding the pick up tube there are 3 worthwhile options for fwd/awd det guys using the ve pump.
1. Cut and reweld (or braze)
2. Drill out the bolt holes on the normal det pick up and use that
3. (I haven't tested this but it should work) Use the gti-r pickup

I'm using a GTiR pickup. Its the same flange as the VE pickup and then the right shape for the awd DET.
