@Vadim can u clean up these guys clutter outta my thread broski?

Ok so went for a drive today, first time out I only used spring pressure.. made about 6psi about what I expected.. slow as shit! Lol. So then I hooked up the mbc, when I get on it, it builds 10 psi or so like I wanted then the boost just falls on its face.. after a few times I figured id double check some shit.. well this is what I found.

Some how it seems to have rotated itself counter clockwise quite a bit.. I think the only thing that stopped it was the tension from the hose..

Def not impressed with this problem.. im going to attempt to put the largest spring in which should be about 9-10psi like I have it set with the mbc.. hopefully that solves the problema.. I am going to contact jgs an ask what the hell lol

looks like the snap ring was not seated all the way. I have fought with my jgs gate a few times due to cheap snap ring pliers but have never had the cap rotate on me.

I emailed them an was told these wastegates are a free floating design an that it helps make the wg last longer..

He also said most people zip tie the line so it cant move.. seems silly honestly..

If I cant get this thing to maintain boost pressure im gonna just put the tial back on but im gonna try changing the spring to the bigger one first as well as using some bailing wire to hold it in place..

If they actually gave you that response, i would take that off right now. That is VERY silly!

Nice build BTW!

then mine is defective because once it the snap ring is locked it cannot be turned. I have had my 40mm gate up to 20psi on the small spring. I run 18psi daily. my housing has never turned.
