Do you have them indexed like Vadim recommends? I've heard having them properly indexed helps w/ spark blow out.

Indexing might actually make it worse for spark blow out, mainly because your pointing the open end towards the incoming boost. I've heard of people doing the opposite of indexing, pointing the ground electrode towards intake, to reduce blowout. Now sidegapping is where it's at!

It shouldn't make that big of a difference, but then again on VE cams reducing reversion would make a difference for the better. He should run leaner now technically.

idk.. hope i get it figured out soon tho..

virtual dyno is still showing power bein made in the 300s, an i lowered the boost haha

That could be tip-in related...

tip in? meaning the afr when i floor it? explain plz lol

at first my afr's were the same, then i changed the plugs and gapped them from .31 to .27 then my afr went leaner, not too much at idle or cruise, a little bit tho, but mostly at wot or accelerating.. so i adjusted the map a little bit to richen it back up. i also lowered the timing a bit as i was advised by a few guys.

so as it is right now, on 9psi, .27 gapped plugs and slightly less timing 2nd and 3rd gear seem to hold an pull strong, 4th gear pulls pretty good but theres still a SLIGHT bit of hesitation, nothing like it was before tho.. i was thinkin of maybe taking the gap down a tad bit more and turning my boost back up to 12 and see how it likes them apples.

vadim i know your a busy guy but if ya wanna check my logs out i'd be more then happy to send them along

if you can part-throttle it without the spark blow out while hitting the same boost level as you do when you floor it and it misses... to me that sounds like too much fuel on tip-in, IF im reading what you described correctly.

ahh i think i know what your saying.. i had been fooling with the accel parameters in nismotronic recently battling another problem and i think i went too far, when i floor it, it does go rich as hell for a second or two, i actually just adjusted this a little bit ago but haven't uploaded it or went for a drive to see if it brought the afr back to where it should be.

however it wasn't so much when i hit the throttle it happens, what im experiancing happens when im @ full boost already and have had the pedal planted for a while.. so would it still be from too much fuel when i floor it?

Yeah that doesnt sound like what I was thinking. But If lowering the gap doesnt help, id look back at the tune again though.

im also planning to do a boost leak test as soon as my buddy gets back from out of town, i dont think i created any, infact i made the routing simpler lol

i cant freakin wait till the new nismotronic release man... i think that will help in so many ways...

Checked my plugs today, they look ok eh? Also gapped em down to .25 to see if it gets rid of the rest of the blow out.
